Cinematography Reel
About Corey
Corey is a former Combat Videographer (4571) for the United States Marine Corps, serving from 2017-2022. He graduated from the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA earning his Bachelors in Fine Arts for Filmmaking in August of 2025. As a Cinematographer, Corey can adapt to any situation thrown his way. His style changes from project to project as he believes that his work should feel invisible to the audience as to not take them out of the story being told. He takes his experience as a Marine Corps Veteran and applies it to his work, making sure the image is the best it can be and executed in a timely manner.
I approach every project with an open mind and that the story of any given project should dictate the look. This is the mentality I keep in mind from Pre-Production to Post-Production.
I own my own set of tools that accompanies me on every project. This includes a Sekonic Speedmaster L-858d-U and a Sekonic Spectrometer C-800 to ensure I can measure every aspect of the image so we can keep it accurate to the look we want and consistent throughout the entire project.
I also own a small camera kit for production with ultra low budgets.
I am a proud owner of a set of vintage Carl Zeiss Jena lenses which have been modified for cinema use and CLA’d by Duclos Lenses. They provide a sharp image, even wide open, while providing a familiar but not overly vintage feel.
I have a Driver’s License and a valid Passport. I am willing to travel wherever the production needs me.
